Test your controller for stick drift
Plug it into this computer with a cable, or pair it by Bluetooth, then press any button. Works in Chrome and Edge. Nothing to install.
Browsers only show a controller after one of its buttons is pressed while this page is open.
Questions
What is stick drift?
A stick that reports movement when nobody is touching it. In games it looks like a camera that slowly turns or a character that creeps forward. We read where each stick rests over 3 seconds with your hands off and compare it with the 0.10 deadzone most games use.
Does this work with Xbox and Switch controllers?
Xbox: yes, by cable or Bluetooth. Switch Pro Controller: yes, in Chrome. Joy-Con: partly, because each half connects on its own and the browser sees only some of the buttons.
Do you keep anything?
No. The test runs in your browser and the readings stay on this computer. A result you share lives only in its link, with no name or account in it.
